Pressure control valves for applications in the chemical, process, pharmaceutical and food industries where the process requires flow, pressure and temperature control
Pressure control valves
Pressure control valves
With pressure control valves - also called control valves - from Alflow, your ventilation, heating and cooling systems are guaranteed fast regulation and precise flow. At the same time, our pressure control valves protect your pipes and equipment from high pressures as they are made of the most suitable material, making them ideal for regulating a variety of liquids, gases and gases.
Find the best quality pressure control valves
At Alflow, we value customer satisfaction and good quality. That's why we strive to deliver the best pressure control valves on the market to your business. This also means that you can find a wide range of different valves in our catalogue. In addition to pressure control valves, you can find, among other things:
- Pressure holding valves
- Pressure reducing valves
- Flow control valves
- Temperature control valves
- Modulating control valves
- Sanitary gas back pressure regulators
- Hand control valves
Our pressure control valves can be an integrated unit with an outlet pressure setting, a limiter and a sensor in the entire valve body, or they can consist of a separate pressure sensor, regulator and flow valve. In addition, you can also order solid globe valves, butterfly valves and safety valves.
Do you need specific pressure control valves for water, gas, steam or aggressive media? Then we can deliver the desired type and quantity to you as quickly as possible. See all our products Here.
A durable solution for your installations
All our valves are of high quality, so you can feel confident using them for your process. Among other things, our valves are type-approved and fulfil all industrial requirements in terms of application, hygiene, environment and user-friendliness.
In addition, all our products are tested before use to ensure they fulfil the requirements for quality and safety. The high standards are also reflected in our suppliers, who comply with all requirements from directives and standards within the food industry as well as the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
This is important because we know that good valves are essential in installations where you need to control and regulate flow. That way, the pipes and equipment are protected against high pressures and pressure surges. When you buy valves from Alflow, you get a long-lasting solution.
How a pressure control valve works
Do you have a heating, cooling or ventilation system that needs either gas or liquid to operate? In most cases, it is very important to be able to control and regulate the amount of liquid flowing through the pipes and into the appliance.
And you can do that with a control valve. Generally speaking, you can divide the valve into the categories of pressure control valves for volume control, pressure control and temperature control respectively. The purpose is to reduce the pressure of a fluid to a certain value when it comes out of the valve.
So a pressure control valve helps maintain a constant output pressure and you can usually set the valve to a certain pressure within its limits. Once the valve is set, the reduced pressure will be constant. In addition, a lower outlet pressure will also create lower water consumption. A constant level of operating flow also reduces less noise in the installation.
Get expert advice, sparring and service
With a pressure control valve, you can keep the set pressure at a constant level - even if there are fluctuations in the inlet pressure. Finding the right control valve is essential to protect your devices and ensure stability at low flow.
That's why we are happy to advise you on finding the best solution for your business. Among other things, we help you choose the valve based on your given fluid data, capacity and pressure drop. Fluid data can be, for example, type, temperature, viscosity, abrasives or solids.
These factors influence the choice and size of the valve, as well as the choice of elastomers and surface finishes. You are therefore more than welcome to Ask us for advice. If you would like more information about a specific pressure control valve in our range, we would be happy to tell you more about it.

What is a pressure regulating valve?
A pressure control valve is used for flow control in process systems, including manual or automatic control of flow, pressure, temperature, concentration, liquid level in tanks, etc. A pressure control valve typically has a plug/seat design where the plug continuously moves up and down to adjust the process condition.
What types of pressure control valves are there?
There are different types of pressure control valves for different types of applications - including manual valves with handles for simple process control, automatic valves for air/electrical control, automatic diaphragm valves for automatic process control with a spring/diaphragm loaded actuator and aseptic valves.
How to find the right pressure control valve?
A pressure control valve is typically selected from a valve curve based on fluid data, capacity and pressure drop across the valve. To ensure correct valve selection, it's important to consider all necessary process and site data as well as customer preferences.
