Pressure holding valves

With pressure maintenance valves from Alflow, your ventilation, heating and cooling systems are guaranteed fast pressure regulation and precise flow. Pressure maintenance valves belong to the group of control valves that regulate flow and protect your pipes and equipment from high pressure. Made from the most suitable material, they are ideal for regulating a wide range of liquids, gases and gases.

What is a pressure maintenance valve?

A pressure maintenance valve is a back pressure valve that ensures a constant preset pressure throughout the system by relieving excess pressure, regardless of whether there are changes in flow or not.

Where are pressure retention valves used?

We have pressure maintenance valves for both sanitary and industrial applications. For example, we have valves suitable for biopharmaceutical plants for modulating pressure relief during filling. These valves are ideal for clean gases typically found in sanitary processes, such as clean hygienic air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, argon, etc. We also have valves suitable for tank blanking applications and valves for process system control.

For example, our MARK 958 is a sanitary gas back pressure regulator for pharmaceutical and food applications. Thanks to the SST construction, FDA approved seals and triclamp connections, this valve is particularly suitable for sanitary applications and environments.

Some of our pressure maintenance valves are also equipped with the extra wide, sensitive JORLON diaphragm, which ensures precise flow. The JORLON diaphragm is so durable that it actually comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY, which means you can return it at any time in the unlikely event that it fails.

Find the best quality pressure maintenance valves

At Alflow, we value customer satisfaction and good quality. That's why we strive to deliver the best pressure retaining valves on the market to your company. This also means that we offer a wide range of pressure retaining valves. Among other things, you can find:

  • sliding-gate pressure maintenance valves
  • differential pressure valves
  • vacuum regulators
  • modulating controllers
  • sliding-gate regulators
  • seat control valves
  • gas control valves
  • Direct pressure maintenance valves
  • self-adjusting pressure maintenance valves
  • Double-seated control valves
  • sanitary pressure maintenance valves
  • sanitary air-reinforced pressure maintenance valves
  • Compact pressure maintenance valves
  • Compact low-flow pressure maintenance valves
  • and more

In addition to pressure retention valves, we also have a wide range of control valves, pressure control valves and pressure reducing valves.

A durable solution for your installations

Naturally, all our valves are of high quality, so you can feel confident using our products for your process. Among other things, our valves are type-approved and fulfil all industrial requirements in terms of application, hygiene, environment and user-friendliness. This means that our pressure retaining valves come with full documentation, among other things:

  • FDA
  • USP Class VI
  • ASME GHP
  • ATEX
  • EHEDG
  • 3A
  • 1935/2004
  • EN10204-3.1
  • 10/2011

In addition, all our products are tested before use to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements. The high standards are also seen in our suppliers, who comply with all requirements from directives and standards in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

When you buy valves from Alflow, you get a long-lasting solution. All this hard work is important because we know that good valves are crucial in installations where you need to control and regulate flow. That way, pipes and equipment are protected against high pressures and pressure surges.

How a pressure maintenance valve works

Do you have a heating, cooling, ventilation or other system that uses either gas or liquid to operate? In most cases, it is very important to be able to control and regulate the volume and pressure of the gas or liquid flowing through the system.

And you can do that with a pressure maintenance valve. A pressure maintenance valve helps maintain a constant pressure and you can usually set the valve to a certain pressure within its limits. Once the valve is set, the reduced pressure will be constant. In addition, a constant level in the operating flow will also result in less noise in the installation.

Get expert advice, sparring and service

With a pressure maintenance valve, you can keep the set pressure at a constant level - even if there are fluctuations in the inlet pressure. Finding the right pressure maintenance valve is essential to protect your devices and ensure stability at low flow.

That's why we're happy to help you find the best solution for your business. Among other things, we help you select the valve from a valve curve based on fluid data, capacity and pressure drop. Fluid data can be, for example, type, temperature, viscosity, abrasives or solids.

These factors influence the choice and size of the valve, as well as the choice of elastomers and surface finishes. You are therefore more than welcome to Ask us for advice. If you need more information about a specific pressure relief valve in our range, we will of course also be happy to tell you more about it.
