Sustainable, low-emission transport and logistics
Transport and logistics is a significant factor in our overall climate footprint and we want to reduce emissions through efficient planning, strong partnerships and data-driven optimisation. As part of our efforts, we are collaborating with Blue Water Shipping, where we are participating in their test panel for a new digital platform to improve sustainability in the logistics industry. The platform gives us a full overview of the carbon footprint upstream: from supplier to Alflow. It analyses transport options and suggests greener delivery methods within the agreed delivery time, helping us make more climate-friendly choices without compromising on efficiency. In addition, the collaboration with Blue Water Shipping allows us to offer our customers carbon offsetting for their deliveries, corresponding to the emissions that have occurred during transport from our subcontractor to the customer's desired delivery location.

Data-driven change
At the same time, we work closely with K. Hansen, who calculates the carbon footprint of our downstream transport: from us to our customers. This data gives us insight into how we can optimise our distribution network and reduce unnecessary transport, contributing to a more sustainable value chain. By combining technology, partnerships and transparency, we ensure that our transport and logistics move in a more climate-friendly direction while continuing to deliver efficiently and reliably to our customers.
