Waste and water management

At Alflow, we see waste as an untapped resource,
that can be recycled and included in the circular economy

with Marius Pedersen A/S is a strong example
on how we work strategically to increase recycling.

Since moving into our new headquarters, we have had a
close relationship with Marius Pedersen A/S, who has assisted
with consulting, analysing and implementing solutions
to ensure more efficient waste sorting. One of the
concrete result of the collaboration is that we have gone from 5
to 9 waste fractions, of which 8 fractions are now sent
for recycling. This means that materials that
was previously sent to incineration as residual waste,
are now sorted and included in new value chains.

We have reviewed our internal practices together
and challenged the status quo - including by removing
individual rubbish bins and introduce centralised sorting
stations that nudge our colleagues to take

alone has contributed to a significant reduction in error rates.

for example, we have decided to switch to paper
tape by 2025 - a measure that both reduces plastic waste and
use and support our circular ambitions.

The partnership with Marius Pedersen A/S is based on
a mutual exchange of knowledge and experience. Our
curiosity and willingness to ask questions has led to
new solutions - and it has also pushed de-
our own development. Together we challenge each other
